P. Kevin O’Daniel – Principal

Kevin began his career learning marketing and advertising at DDB Needham and BBDO (both LA) before moving into a Sony-backed CD-ROM publishing venture and eventually the Internet and SEO.

During his seven years at VC-backed BioSpace.com, he managed the website which grew from 10,000 pageviews per month to over 7 Million per month using techniques he now utilizes for Search-tec.

His experience on varied accounts including Apple, Blue Cross, CIGNA, Pizza Hut, VW, Sizzler, Universal Pictures — as well as his more recent work with US Oncology, Caliper Life Sciences, Accuray, ArQule, Xenogen, NovaScreen, Maxygen, APT Pharmaceuticals, Triumph Pharmaceuticals and Gen-Probe — allows him to form a unique perspective on business opportunities for Search-tec Clients.

Kevin follows the Buckeyes as an alumni of The Ohio State University.

Eric J. Savoia – Creative Director

Eric Savoia has worked as a creative director, senior designer, manager and consultant on Internet-related projects for businesses for more 20 years. His expertise in design allows him to optimize imagery for online applications and search.

Eric has designed, implemented and consulted on online projects for Eli Lilly & Co., Kaiser Permanente, Brown and Caldwell, The Sorenson Companies, California Healthcare Institute, Adsumo, Inc. (a division of The Scientist), Bio.com, BioSpace.com, Science Magazine, Discovery Innovations and Medius IV.

Carter D. Dougherty – Life Science Practice Director

Carter brings more than 15 years of life science experience in product and business development in helping our Clients optimize their website in this unique vertical segment. In addition, Carter has extensive experience in management consulting and running his own businesses.

His combination of hands-on wet and dry science expertise, business acumen and online knowledge brings a wealth of opportunity for our life science Clients and their websites.

Carter studied Biotechnology and Zoology at UC Berkeley before doing all this other cool stuff.
